The above title reads like a pretty good description of how FreightCenter serves customers and continues to incorporate technical innovations that make shipping freight and parcels easier for our customers. But in this case, commitment to service and 20 years of making good things better refers specifically to FreightCenter’s tenacious CEO, Matthew Brosious.
Matt’s commitment to service was shaped while he was a member of the United States Army’s elite 2nd Ranger Battalion. It hasn’t wavered since. After leaving the Army, Matt and his father, Jim, started FreightCenter in 1998. In the 20 years since, FreightCenter has been recognized as a leader among 3rd Party Logistics companies for its advances in developing and implementing technology to serve customers better and provide a customer experience second to none in the highly-competitive freight shipping industry.
Most recently, Matt was recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as one of its 2018 Pros to Know. But awards are nothing new for Matt and FreightCenter, who received the following in 2017 alone.
2017 Green Supply Chain Award
2017 Tampa Bay Business Journal Top 200
2017 Food Logistics’ Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain
2017 SmartWay® Transport Partner
2017 Food Logistics Top Green Products
As Matt explains it, the awards are secondary. “We stay totally focused on serving our customers and making it easy for them to book their freight shipping through FreightCenter,” Brosious said. “That means keeping up with technology (and developing new technology when necessary), training our employees so they can provide first rate customer service that complements our technology, and taking good care of our employees. We also try to be good corporate citizens, so being as green as possible is important to us. We appreciate the awards as recognition that we must be doing something right.”
As FreightCenter celebrates it’s 20th anniversary, we wanted to tip our collective hat to the person who has led our company for all 20 of those years. We know that FreightCenter will be bringing more new freight shipping innovations to the forefront in the years to come, and Matt will be right there, leading the charge to serve you better.
